Jo Lamb is an Editor and Freelance Writer. She currently edits two academic journals for Emerald Publishing. She is News Editor for International Journal of Health Care Quality Assurance (IJHCQA) and Co- Editor for Leadership in Health Services (LHS). Jo writes non-fiction pieces on a number of topics including; health, history, lifestyle and creative writing.
Jo also writes under the name of Louise Charles - her alter ego and persona for fiction writing. She has written two historical novels, both set in World War Two, and has started a story set in Saxon times. She has also written numerous short stories and has been published in My Weekly, People's Friend and an Anthology of Short Stories. Jo is the founder member of the writing community for ex-pats, Writers Abroad
Jo is unconditionally supported by her husband ,Simon,who is the driving force behind her writing. Simon regularly provides supportive feedback, editing, a broad shoulder and the ever-essential proof reading. Jo and Simon are currently writing a contemporary, humourous novel which is loosley based on fact.
